Good and helpful service, cleanliness, general quality. Excellent location.
Minor issues which are only of concern in the context of the hotel's suites attempting to provide luxury: The beds were a bit hard (but they seem to be always so in the Balkans for some reason). Two things fell short due to reasons mainly outside the hotel's control I guess: the good- sized lcd tv had a poorish signal, and the bath tub had a 3cm cockroach trying to climb out of the sink, before we sent him on his way. Oh, and the sauna was way too dry, lacking water to throw on the stones -- even though a sign outside clearly stated both in Bosnian and in English that throwing water on the stones is essential to a Finnish sauna... Negotiating with the staff only produced a special permission to borrow some orange aroma -infested liquid to use as a poor substitute. Pointing out the text in the plaque did not help any, The organization and training of personnel could be improved to allow the use of reason. Oh, and charging for an extra (small) cup of coffee at breakfast is of no concern monetarily to anyone staying here, but it is slightly irritating then to have to sign extra bills every morning due to this. They would hardly go bankrupt if they added some flexibility there as well.
Only spa was excellent, but I went there the day after checked out for a massage. The staff and the service were very good.
After a very warm and tiring trip,I went to the shower and there was no cold water.I Had to wait for 10 mınutes. There was no shampoo and asked to the reception and someone brought me bathfoam!!!.There was no big towel, only small ones and bathrobes but very small size. The airconditioning was working but for making noise and no cooling.I Could not switch it off from the room, they switched off from the reception.I Could not open the window and I had a very warm and sleepless night. The breakfast was not an open buffet!I Had planned to stay for 3 nights but I checked out in te first day. They offered me %50 discount and the best room for the next time, but even these conditions,I will never try this hotel again.Big disappointment!
The room was clean and well decorated to a high quality, with all modern facilities. We had plenty of space and got to use the pool, steam room and sauna which were again clean and pratically empty! We were also on the doorstop of local cafes and bars and were never too far from any sight/activity. What really made the place was the friendly receptionist who helped us immensely with parking/directions and even rang a local activity based agency to find out where they were located to point us in the right direction.
The staff were wonderful - very friendly, welcoming & efficient. All requests were attended to immediately. Great location. Rooms very spacious & comfortable. Loved soaking in the spa tub after a days sightseeing. Breakfast was served to your table (not buffet). Good breakfast menu which included freshly squeezed juice plus excellent coffee.
This is a great place; comfortable and stylish rooms, really friendly and warm staff, and a perfect location in downtown Sarajevo. The pool, sauna and gym facilities are worth the stay alone. Nice-looking restaurant in the foyer, too. Staff did all they could to make us feel welcome. The place was clean and new and the price is fair. Recommended.
The breakfast was a bit fiddly, as you had to order a set breakfast from a menu (and had to pay more if you wanted an extra coffee!) It is a shame that no alcohol is served in the restaurant, as we would have liked to have had dinner there, but wanted some wine with it. The pool was great, but some rules were enforced (you had to go barefoot in the sauna, for some reason) and others were not (some men were talking very, very loudly for an hour, which is amplified by the pool's acoustics, but the lifeguard said nothing, even though disturbance is forbidden. Finally, a woman customer had to ask them to keep it down). The only other minor irritaion is that the shower screen in the bathroom has a large opening at the back which means water goes all over the floor, and it never dries!
The position of the hotelm was brilliant. Great value for money with the room and general facilities top class. Spa also very very good. A 3 star hotel which should be 4 and half star.........a real real gem. Only 1 complaint that was at the evening maeal 1 of the 2 staff on duty was hopeless (blond hair).
Its very clean, breakfast was good. Fitness facility was extensive and first class (four (4) floors)!!
Cleaning ladies need more supervisions as they forget vacum the floor to fully replace towels or itemas (e.g. soap) that had been used. However this was not on a daily baisis.
Wonderful location and staff. We stayed in a larger room which had a porch with a very nice view.
Bathroom sink and shower are poorly designed (sink is way too high and water goes everywhere from the shower), but pretty.
Everything was fabulous....room, spa, gym, pool, staff!
They aren't great on small details eg. bed not made, only small towels given, breakfast doesn't follow the menu. But these do not detract from the hotel being great!
An amazing hotel. The value for money is unbelievable. I as a student would never be able to afford the luxury of such a hotel in most places, but Sarajevo is great value for money. The gym is the best I have ever seen in a hotel worldwide, and I have done a lot of traveling and stayed in a lot of hotels. The spa and swimming pool are excellent. The food once again is amazing value, superb quality and a real joy to eat. The staff are far beyond helpful and go out of their way to make your journey and stay as easy pleasant as possible. Great hotel in a great city that must be visited.
Excellent location, attached to the main street and the old town. Excellent swimming-pool (around 25 m) and fitness center plus sauna and other spa facilities
I could not have dinner at 21:45 (kitchen closed) though Dinner time ended at 22:00 (however the staff did give me indications about where to find a restaurant). Breakfast is not buffet; you must choose one kind of breakfast and it is served to you directly
The kindness of the staff, the internal design and the services (swimming pool and turkish baht, also if we didn't have the time to enjoy it), the price and the very central position. They do not have the parking but use the Europe Hotel parking and it is very comfortable.
Not remarks but some suggestions: We had some difficulties to make understand the parker we coud use the parking (that we paid at the Europe Hotel) also if we wasn't guest of the Europe Hotel (than the receptionist solved any problem). The Central Hotel is very high level and with a very pleasent presence but we found the bathroom not perfectly clean for a so important Hotel (I supouse we was just unlucky).
Very friendly staff, good location, additional hotel offer (swimming pool, sauna, fitness)
Excellent location in the heart of Sarajevo old town. Just around the corner from the spot where Mr & Mrs Archduke Franz Ferdinand were assasinated. Stylish hotel, comfortable air-conditioned rooms with excellent leisure & pool facilities. Good value for money
The location was great. The pool is a nice feature. Rooms are clean and large.
I reserved the Junior Suite weeks in advance. I did not get this room. They claimed they did not have my reservation and we ended up having to settle for a different, smaller room. Major disappointment, as we expected the larger room after the long drive from Dubrovnik. They also could not get a price agreed upon between reception and management, causing an extra headache for me. They also said they would provide some "gift" for the inconvenience - nothing ever materialized.
